The 4 year olds

Glen Lomond (Ziggy AES 12/04/2005); Bay Mare; Sandro Hit/Kelvin/Ulft

An outstanding bay filly with superb movement should become a real dressage star. Altogether a lovely lady: conformation -  pedigree -  temperament she has the lot. By the legendary sire Sandro Hit  she would make a valuable broodmare when her ridden career is over. She is the first foal of the  KWPN ster mare Solero.   Glen Lomond has already been graded by Warmblood Breeders Studbook.  She was backed and hacked out last autumn then turned away to mature and is now being brought back into work.

Glen Lyon (Ruby AES 02/06/2005); Bay Mare; Dick Z/Glennridge/Bernstein

A wonderful jumping pedigree.  From the first UK crop of Dick Z out of Glen Appin, this modern athletic dark bay filly oozes quality.  Her movement, particularly her canter, is good enough for the dressage arena. Bred to meet the requirements of modern show jumping where athleticism and quality and rhythm in the canter is essential she is an exciting prospect. Now backed and hacking out and about to compete

The 3 year olds

Dawn Chorus (Arthur SHBGB; 26/04/2006); Grey Gelding; Up With The Lark/ Aberguiffy/ King Sitric

Father a 4 year old British Eventing Champion – Mother dam of a 4 year old British Eventing Champion.  Dawn Chorus is a gelding of outstanding pedigree. Both sides have produced several generation of top eventing stars a rare occurrence.  He is a beautiful moving fellow with superb conformation and jump. His tremendous talents and friendly willing nature should make him a super star.

Glen Morlick (Scarlet AES; 07/06/2006);  Dark Bay Filly; Dick Z/ Glennridge/ Bernstein

A very beautiful feminine mare - full sister to 4 year old above with the same wonderful qualities. Both should excel as sports horses and broodmares. She is slightly lighter in build and taller than her sister Glen Lyon. An extremely talented horse with excellent jump but could excel in all disciplines. Her athleticism is simply outstanding. As well as multiple international horses in her pedigree her tail line also includes Zuidhorn sire of top show jumper Illain. A World Champion showjumper as a youngster he did not disappoint as a mature horse.

Cairngorm (Georgie KWPN 23/04/2007)  dark bay gelding, Sandreo/Kelvin/Ulft

Sandreo is a son of Sandro Hit and is one of the most popular stallions in Holland he comes from from a line of outstanding performers – Dam Solero is a KWPN ster mare with superb movement. Originally destined for the high performance sales she bought to be a broodmare on the basis that only the best mares should be used for breeding.  This gelding looks to be a very promising dressage prospect combining elegance with movement.

Glen Nevis (Squiffy AES 04/06/2007) bay filly, Pro-Set/Glennridge/Bernstein

This is a simply outstanding filly with the movement and presence of a champion. She is full sister to the superb young dressage horse Top-Set (born Glen Grant).  Pro Set is an outstanding producer of youngstock that show both excellent paces and jump. Glennridge is by the proven KWPN dressage sire Wellington. Bernstein is a son of Ramiro. World class jumping and dressage blood is represented on both sides of her pedigree. Her dam Glen Appin did not compete due to injury.

Glenorchy (Sprite AES 08/06/2007)  bay gelding, Atlantic Z/Larino/Aktuell

This colt foal has won a First Premium at the Baileys Horse Feeds /British Breeding Futurity. He was also Champion Show Jumping foal on the day. Not surprising as he has a show jumping pedigree of the highest quality. Atlantic Z won the German and the Dutch 6 year old Show jumping Championship.  He has performed successfully at International level being Dutch reserve at the Olympics and has also produced two KWPN graded sons.   Glenorchy’s homebred dam Glenholm is a daughter of Larino who has jumped many times for Holland. She has a huge jump with amazing shape over a fence and as a six year old is now jumping Foxhunter though only backed a year.

Yearlings

Glenrothes (SHBGB 30/06/2008) Bay Gelding;  Pro Set/Glennridge/Bernstein

He is full brother to Glen Nevis and Top-Set (born Glen Grant). We have continued to use Pro Set as he complements the dam Glen Appin so well. This is a lovely well grown colt every bit as good as his siblings. He has real presence and substance as well as outstanding conformation with particularly good elasticity and shoulder movement.

Glen Prossen (AES 26/05/2008) Dark Bay Gelding; San Antonio/Kelvin/Ulft

Glen Prossen is a beautifully bred dressage colt showing quality movement in all paces.   With excellent conformation and elasticity Glen Prossen shows all the qualities necessary to become a dressage star.  His sire San Antonio is a young son of Sandro Hit.  His grand dam Alteza combines the classic German bloodlines of Weltmyer and Absinth (Absatz).  Glen Prossen’s dam Solero is a KWPN ster mare with top predicates on both sides. This is a super friendly young fellow worthy of his pedigree.

All youngsters have been raised carefully on our private stud and are well handled, wormed and vaccinated.  They have full breed society passports (for the society listed after names above)
