The 4 year olds

Cona Glen;  (Thea) AES; 03/06/2004; Dark Bay;   Jazz/ Aktuell/Atlantus

By KWPN Horse of the Year - Jazz. Bay filly with very good movement as befits her pedigree. Should make excellent competitive dressage horse but also has a promising jump from her dam’s side (Akteve Bewes).  She has been backed and is working quietly. She is a lovely lady who really enjoys working.  Thea was sold in June 2008

Glen Ken (Finn); AES; 05/07/2004; Dark Bay;  Sandro B/ Atlantic Z/ Aktuell

He is a very impressive dark bay colt by Sandro B. Excellent conformation - a  beautiful mover with good jumping technique and scope. Very quick to learn.  Has now been sat on and behaving beautifully.  Easy to handle. Has been backed and turned away over winter.  A real star what more can you say of him. His home bred dam, Glenearn, was graded ster by KWPN and won the Championship on the day beating several very well bred imports.  Click here to view a video on YouTube.  Update (Aug 08), Glen Ken is now being retained by the stud to do Young Horse classes.

The 3 year olds

Silver Sovereign (Bonnie); SHBGB; 03/05/2005; Grey; Libro/Aberguiffy/King Sitric

Lovely grey filly bred to be a top eventer – out of same dam (Moonlight Gem) as Pavo Winner Ideal Rock.  Her sire, Libro, brings performance in both dressage and show jumping teamed with top quality thoroughbred blood.  Good conformation and temperament.   A lovely moving filly with a good jump; she is a top eventing prospect with lots of promise.

Glen Lomond (Ziggy); AES; 12/04/2005; Bay; Sandro Hit/Kelvin/Ulft

An outstanding bay filly with superb movement should become a real dressage star. Altogether a lovely lady: conformation -  pedigree -  temperament she has the lot. By the legendary sire Sandro Hit out of Solero, she would make a valuable broodmare when her ridden career is over.  Glen Lomond is in the process of being backed and is proving to be a very willing and obedient horse. Her paces look even better now she is in work and she looks to be a future star.

Glen Lyon (Ruby); AES; 02/06/2005; Dark Bay; Dick Z/Glennridge/Bernstein

A wonderful jumping pedigree.  From the first UK crop of Dick Z out of Glen Appin, Ruby is a modern athletic dark bay filly that oozes quality.  Her movement is good enough to compete as dressage horse but she is bred to meet the requirements of modern show jumping where athleticism and quality of movement are essential.  Good confirmation and temperament.  Click here to view a video through YouTube.

The 2 year olds

Dawn Chorus (Arthur); SHBGB; 26/04/2006; Grey; Up With The Lark/ Aberguiffy/ King Sitric

Father (Up With The Lark) a Pavo Winner – Mother (Moonlight Gem) dam of Pavo Winner  A grey colt of outstanding pedigree. Both sides have produced several generation of Eventing stars a rare feat.  He is a beautiful moving fellow with superb conformation. His tremendous talents and friendly willing nature should make him a super star.

Glen Morlick (Scarlet); AES; 07/06/2006;  Dark Bay; Dick Z/ Glennridge/ Bernstein

Full sister (Dick Z out of Glen Appin) to 3 year old above (Glen Lyon) with the same wonderful qualities.  Both should excel as sports horses and broodmares. Tail line also includes Zuidhorn sire of top show jumper Illain.  Super consolidated continental jumping breeding now available as British born.

2007 Foals for Sale

Cairngorm; KWPN; 23/04/2007; Bay Gelding; Sandreo/Kelvin/Ulft

His sire Sandreo is the most popular dressage stallion in Holland from a line of outstanding performers and his dam is Solero, a KWPN ster mare with superb movement.   We now have a potential superstar - a bay gelding with good conformation and movement worthy of his sire.  He has a particularly supple and positive walk.  A great prospect!

Glen Nevis; SHBGB; 04/06/2007; Bay Filly;  Pro Set/Glennridge/Bernstein

A repeat of a mating that has already produced a superb dressage horse, we now have a lovely bay filly, born 4 June 2007 by Pro Set.  Her damsire, Glennridge, is by the outstanding dressage sire Wellington.  She is exceptionally light on her feet and looks to have the making of an exceptional dressage horse. This one is very special.  She is full sister to TOPSET one of the very few British bred horses to reach the Final of the Shearwater 5 year old Dressage Championships.  Due to a minor injury he could not participate but keep a look out for this one!  We are very proud to have bred them both.

Glen Orrin; AES; Bay Filly; Up To Date Miltoo/Bernstein/Zuidhorn

By the young World Champion show jumper Up To Date Miltoo, who is causing a lot of excitement on the continent. Her dam Ilona is a KWPN ster mare who has already proven her ability to produce jumpers.  A strong well developed bay filly, she practices her jumping over imaginary poles.  With a friendly, confident outlook on life and jumping blood in abundance she should make a top performer.  Orphaned at five weeks, she immediately teamed up with another of our broodmares and the two were inseparable till she was “weaned”. We play guess the orphan with visitors and so far no one has got it right.

Glenorchy; AES; Dark Bay Gelding; Atlantic Z/Larino/Aktuell

This first foal awaited with great anticipation and excitement. His dam Glenholm was four when he was born and as she has a huge jump with amazing shape over a fence we felt we had to breed from her before she started on a competitive career.  He has a pedigree of the highest quality (by Atlantic Z) and is a super dark bay gelding with a lovely frame, great conformation and movement that would do a dressage foal proud. The judges commented that he was a lovely balanced mover when he won a First Premium and the Top Show Jumping Foal Award at the Baileys Horse Feeds /British Breeding Futurity Evaluation at Sunny Bank in 2007.

All youngsters have been raised carefully on our private stud and are well handled, wormed and vaccinated.  They have full breed society passports (for the society listed after names above)

Pictures to follow once they loose their winter woollies!!
